In all toil there is profit, but mere talk tends only to poverty (Proverbs 14:23, ESV). Any effort expended to accomplish a task is effort well spent with a benefit received in return. Sometimes the return can’t be measured, but we can be sure there is a return. On the other hand, those who talk a better game than played soon lose their audience. That is not a return desired, but it can be a great lesson learned.
