Better is a little with the fear of the LORD, Than great treasure with trouble (Proverbs 15:16, NKJV). The quality of life is immeasurably better! In fact, in Proverbs 10:9, the one who walks with the Lord is walking securely. That is, he walks not having to look behind him because of all the trouble he experienced or caused. Perhaps all he has to do is give thought to whether or not that which he said was said adequately. Not much trouble for the one who walks with the Lord! The one who walks this way walks with the Lord, for the Lord is his teacher.
